The Battle is on – Blue vs Red.

The Rodmersham Squash Club has been bustling with exciting MATS matches lately, showcasing some outstanding displays of skill and determination from our members.

In the first match, George and Jordan battled it out, with Jordan from the Blue team coming out victorious with a score of 52-42.

Next up, Ben and Ashley played to a tie, with both players showing great skill and determination throughout the game, resulting in a final score of 44-44. They were adamant to find out who was better, so played another “friendly” after the MATS to determine who’s the boss! Who won guys?

As usual, Lois put on a fantastic display of “Woods” skills in a game against Jim, securing a 53-40 win. Another win for the Blue team!

Christo and Harlee put on an exciting game Christo leading the first half, Harlee most of the second half, with Christo from the Red team coming back in the last few minutes, winning with a score of 54-50.

Next, a big crowd gathered to watch these two favourite players! Oscar from the Blue team had an exciting match against Turtle, coming out with a win with a final score of 59-45.

Casey (a double agent from Team Green) put on an impressive performance in a game against Michelle, securing a 66-41 win for the Red Team.

Sports loving Raif took on his coach and veteran Damien. Raif showed great perseverance and skill throughout the game, securing a Red team win with a final score of 48-39.

As usual, Amo and Ethan played an incredibly close match, with Ethan from the Blue team just coming out on top with a final score of 46-41.

The last game of the evening was between Holly and Caitlin. Caitlin was off to a good start with a lead of 10, but Holly caught up, with it being neck and neck by the first half. The second half consisted of brilliant shots from Holly and great rallies, leaving the Blue team with yet another win, 65-42.

By the end of the night, we see the Blue team win with the overall score of 16 to 10. It was a great evening for both teams, enjoying bar refreshments and delicious Mexican chicken cooked by Lindsey. This was a great last night for Blue team, with all the club regulars encouraging the players. However, Red team will come back fighting next time!

These recent matches have been a fantastic showcase of the skill and competitive spirit of our members. We’re proud to have such talented players in our community and look forward to many more exciting matches in the future.
